Disposal cost calculation

The production of dairy products is accompanied by the generation of specific organic waste 02 05 Waste from the production of dairy products.

The key ones include milk whey, buttermilk and sediments that arise during the stages of separation, coagulation and filtration. Due to its rich composition, whey is not ordinary waste but serves as valuable secondary raw material for the food and processing industries.

In addition to liquid fractions, this group 02 05 includes technological residues and sediments generated at dairy plants during equipment cleaning, milk filtration or as a result of spoilage of non-conforming products (for example, condensed milk, spoiled kefir or cream residues).

Since dairy organic matter acidifies and decomposes extremely quickly and has a high biological oxygen demand, it cannot be discharged directly into ordinary sewage systems or onto soil without prior thorough local treatment.

Modern methods of handling this waste involve deep processing or bioconversion instead of simple destruction.

Thus, the processing of dairy waste makes it possible to reduce the environmental impact and integrate enterprises into a circular economy.

LLC “DSL-2010” has all the necessary permits and authorizations to carry out its activities:

DSL-2010 LLC carries out operations for the management of hazardous waste on the basis of a license issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine by Order No. 704 dated 17.06.2024.

Waste treatment is carried out in accordance with the permit for waste treatment operations issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine No. 15068/25 dated 30.12.2025.
