Waste group 02 01 includes various residues generated in the course of professional activities in agriculture and forestry, as well as related sectors such as horticulture, fishing, and hunting.
This category covers both organic residues of plant or animal origin and associated materials generated during the cultivation, harvesting, and primary processing of products. Effective management of these resources is of critical importance, as the volumes of such waste are often substantial and require timely disposal or recycling.
The specific nature of waste in this group requires a differentiated approach to its collection and subsequent handling, depending on its origin and physical and chemical properties. The most common examples include plant residues, waste from animal husbandry, as well as specific materials used in aquaculture processes or the maintenance of plantations.
Proper classification of this waste not only helps prevent environmental pollution but also creates opportunities for its reuse, for example, for the production of organic fertilizers or alternative energy sources.
Business entities are required to ensure the safe handling of waste from group 02 01, preventing its uncontrolled accumulation or unauthorized landfilling. The use of specialized recycling services makes it possible to minimize the negative impact on soil and water resources, increase the level of environmental responsibility of an enterprise, and transform potential hazards into useful resources.
